The parliament speaker of South Sudan‘s proclaimed the independence day of his state on Saturday(07/09). The tears of joy of the birth of world’s newest nation colored the day. In this beginning South Sudan has splitted the largest country in Africa to be two.
“We, the democratically elected representatives of the people, based on the will of the people of South Sudan, and as confirmed by the outcome of the referendum of self-determination, hereby declare South Sudan to be an independent and sovereign nation,” James Wani Igga announced.
The independence declaration was published and read out in front of many  heads of state, including Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, and foreign dignitaries as well as tens of thousands of cheering southerners.
South Sudan’s national flag was then raised, to wild applause, tears and song.
“We shall never, never surrender,” the crowd chanted, as people whistled and wiped tears from their eyes.
“I should cry for the recognition of this flag among the flags of the world,” shouted one tearful man.
After this memorial day, South Sudan has been the 193th country of United Nations Members. Security council of UN has legalized the resolution on Monday(7/11) that end the UN mission for Sudan and replaced it with the new one. According to UN journal, UN mission for South Sudan is to held the meeting in Monday night. Ad hoc board of UN security council held the private meeting regarding the admission right to UN for South Sudan.
Wednesday, security council plan to give resolution that recommending South Sudan confess. More, it has been attached also by short statement of Chief of UN Security Council,  German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.
There was the elaboration of new president of Sudan. Salva Kiir as the former opposition leader will take the part. Thursday, General court of UN will have meeting in the morning to legalized South Sudan membership.
South Sudan declared independence in the presence of tens of thousands of its citizens and some foreign leaders on Saturday after nearly 50 years of civil war in Sudan (north) and millions died.
Sudan(north) will lost three-quarters of its oil reserves
International community, and in particular the U.S., China, Russia and the European Union, was quick to admit new countries. But Sudan (north), which will lost about a third of its territory and three-quarters of its oil reserves, had already admitted it. South Sudan, despite the enormous oil reserves, among the poorest countries in the world.
Furthermore, The World Bank Group President Robert B. Zoellick also congratulated South Sudan, pledging to be “a strong partner as we help transform a day of independence into a decade of development.”
