Standard Brakes On Honda CBR250R

SportsWriterUsa – Honda CBR250R, which was launched last week (27/10) in Thailand presents two options braking mechanism, namely tech Combined ABS (anti-lock brake system) and regular disc brakes (standard). Application Combined ABS on the 250 cc sports bike claimed first in the world.

To get a powerful braking power, front disc selected circumference and 220 mm 296 mm to the rear. For the type of standard brakes, front wheel using a two-port caliper. While Combined ABS apply the three-port caliper. For rear wheel use the same one-port caliper.

Combined ABS braking allows the distribution rate front and rear wheels is ideal. For example, at high speed, although the biker just stepping on the foot brake, then its front wheel brake (hand brake) will also work with the proportion of braking is adjusted automatically. Furthermore, to get perfect braking can be followed by pulling the hand brake deeper.

Anti-lock brake system (ABS) works to prevent ngancing wheel (wheel lock) due to sudden braking or a slippery road. Sensors mounted on the front and rear wheel to detect the speed of both wheels were reported to the ABS module within the ECU (electronic control unit).

It is noteworthy, that the ABS is not working to shorten braking distances. But it will provide comfort biker when deceleration in the corner without fear of sliding. Or nge-block preventing the wheels when braking suddenly.
